Sharman T. Propp
Of Counsel
Ms. Propp began her legal career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Commercial Litigation Division of the New York City Law Department, where she specialized in construction litigation. She represented the New York City Board of Education and other municipal agencies and defended civil rights actions initiated against the City’s Police Department. In subsequent years, Ms. Propp worked at The Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Firm and Tanner Propp, LLP, where her experience encompassed a wide array of commercial, employment, ERISA, estate, and personal injury litigation.
Ms. Propp currently specializes in commercial and employment litigation, including litigation arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, New York State Labor Law and a variety of other federal and state statutes.
In addition to practicing law, Ms. Propp performs with the Taconic Opera and is a member of the Board of Directors of the opera company. In prior years, she has served as President of the Briarcliff Manor Public Library Board of Trustees and President of the Westchester Great Books Council.
